Hello, FPA members. My name is Inna Rivilis, and I am pleased to be serving as President of the FPA Massachusetts chapter for 2021. 2020 was a challenging year for all of us. To ensure we stay connected during these difficult times, we have changed how we deliver our programming to continue providing valuable content for your business and your clients.

This year, we’re introducing a new member spotlight strategy on social media and enhancing how we share information through our social media channels. Our chapter has engaged Impact Communications, one of the financial services industry’s best known and most respected communications consulting firms, to help us maximize our marketing outreach and community engagement.

On March 30th at 12pm ET, you’re invited to attend a live presentation on modern marketing methods. Impact Communications’ social media expert, Jonny Swift, will be joined by founder, Marie Swift, to share new ideas for marketing your firm in 2021 and beyond. They will also tell you about our member spotlight program. The presentation will be recorded for those who are not able to attend it.

In the meantime, here are the three things I’m hoping you’ll do this year. First is attend one of our virtual events. NexGen Speed Networking Event is coming up this spring. Wicked Good Talks Conference will take place on May 19th through 21st. Second is engage with our member community. Listen to the Wicked Pissah Podcast, featuring many local FPA members, join our member-only Facebook and LinkedIn pages, or engage with our public social media pages. And lastly, give back to our community via pro bono programs, including opportunities to provide financial planning services to cancer patients, military families, and low-income families. And the most important thing, thank you all for continued membership with FPA Massachusetts. Together, we can do more, be more, and achieve more. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to support you in 2021. Thank you.
