Position Overview

The Client Relationship Associate will support PWC Advisors with client service and operational transactions, financial planning, and investment management.  The Client Relationship Associate will work closely with the principal advisor to acquire the technical knowledge and relationship management skills necessary for advancement.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Preparation of client-specific investment, retirement, education funding, and other financial planning analyses and reports, as well as provide recommendations when needed.
  • Preparation of materials for client and prospect meetings, as well as preparation of marketing packages.
  • Preparation and review of financial plans annually and as requested; provide financial planning support.
  • Attend and summarize in-person meetings with clients and prospects, as well as attend meetings, webinars, and conference calls sponsored by investment and similar firms.S
  • Submission of account trades as needed and provide quality control measures while screening trades.
  • Strong interest and desire to conduct financial market research and stay up to date on market trends and news
  • Become a skilled user of investment and financial planning related, web-based software, such as TD Ameritrade Institutional Veo, Redtail CRM and Imaging, Morningstar Advisor Workstation, and Advyzon

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • BA or BS in Business
  • Prior enrollment or willingness to enroll in CFP® certification program
  • Ability to pass Series 65 exam within 9 months of hire
  • Two to five years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Experience working with TD Ameritrade Institutional processes and forms, a plus
  • Good understanding of financial planning concepts and terminology
  • Knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, stock, bond, insurance, and annuity products
  • Exposure to financial and estate planning issues
  • Proficiency with computer programs, including MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Morningstar Advisor Workstation®, Advyzon, Redtail, and Gainskeeper (through TD Ameritrade Institutional)
  • Desire to work successfully in a small company environment
  • Team player, collaborative, and works well with and through others
  • Excellent professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client first philosophy

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.  Pay will be based upon experience.  A full benefits package including paid holidays and vacation is available.
