As many of you know, our Chapter is launching a new program aimed at providing free and unbiased financial education to the public through libraries in Massachusetts. FPA members will arrange presentations with local libraries using FPA approved workshops.

We are currently asking members who would like to become involved in this exciting project to contact us.  This is an excellent opportunity for you to give back to the community and help support a worthwhile and rewarding project.  The “thirst” for financial education is huge and we are well positioned to address it.

Jenifer Cannon is the project leader and she is inviting all participating members (as well as any of you who would like to become involved in this exciting project) to the official FPA Library Project Orientation Meeting.  The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in Lexington. Wingate Financial has graciously offered the use of their conference room.  The meeting will run from 10am to Noon.

If you are involved in the project or would like to become involved, please be sure to contact Jenifer at (781) 862-7100  for additional details, an agenda and to reserve your place.

Our motto at the FPA is “Do One Thing”.   Make this project yours.
