Director of Wealth Management

The Director of Wealth Management will focus on the firm accomplishing its business development and wealth management practice goals by effectively managing Wealth Management teams as it relates to practice management, client service, career development, marketing activity, and business development. This is a senior leadership position and will report to the firm’s President.

Business Development Responsibilities

  • Chair the firm’s monthly Business Development Committee
  • Create ongoing strategies to help increase new business opportunities and work with wealth management teams and other departments on implementation
  • Track business development activity and results
  • Conduct introductory calls with leads and assign opportunities to the appropriate wealth management teams
  • Track sales opportunities through our three-meeting onboarding process

Management Responsibilities

  • Wealth Management team career development
  • Ensure adequate wealth management team staffing
  • Team effectiveness in servicing clients according to Heritage standards and task and workflow management
  • Manage each wealth management team’s client capacity
  • Assess existing resources available to wealth management teams (consultants, coaches, sporting event tickets, Smart Asset, etc.) and recommend changes or enhancements

Skills

  • 10 years wealth management experience
  • Prior management experience
  • CFP preferred
