Position Title:             Senior Relationship Manager

The ideal candidate will have a well-developed understanding of the wealth management industry and have a passion for ongoing relationship management and client engagement. The Senior Relationship Manager will provide support to a Financial Adviser(s) in all aspects of relationship management including driving client loyalty, managing escalations, and client retention.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary contact for specific subset of clients and engage in regular portfolio reviews and communication to deliver a holistic wealth management experience.
  • Partner with the Financial Adviser during the client onboarding experience.
  • Identify opportunities for relationship enhancement. Anticipate client needs, recognize challenges, and provide swift, efficient solutions.
  • Retain and demonstrate our value through understanding our portfolios, leveraging the research/portfolio management team, and utilizing wealth services (financial planning, estate planning review and tax preparation) offered by the firm.

Success Metrics

  • Additional assets under management brought on by the specific book of business through promotion of all services offered by Adviser Investments and understanding a full understanding of the clients’ goals and financial picture.

This position requires:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Series 65 license, and the CFP® designation (or actively pursuing)
  • 4+ years’ experience working directly with clients
  • Excellent customer service, communication, emotional intelligence, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent in-person and video call (e.g., Zoom) presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in eMoney, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Salesforce
  • Notable attention to detail, decision making skills, analytical prowess and self-initiated follow through
